Documents required for a Subordinate Employment Visa

Domestic workers, home-care givers, seasonal labourers, highly skilled labourers, managers, university lecturers and professors, researchers, translators, interpreters, personnel on leave for training, nurses, maritime workers, sports personnel and athletes, entertainment industry personnel. This visa is issued having "Nulla Osta" to be requested by the employer. The "Sportello Unico" (Unified Immigration Desk) sends Nulla Osta to the Diplomatic Representation

 

1.       Visa application form

2.       Two recent passport-size photos (3,5 x 4,5 cm).

3.

  • Signed passport, with expiry date at least three months later than planned visa duration. Passport should have at least 2 blank pages (for visa and stamps of custom authorities) and must be issued not earlier than 10 years ago (p. 12 of Code of Conduct). Extended passports will not be accepted, except for urgent humanitarian cases which can be proved.
  • Originals of all valid international passports and expired passports in original and copies, in case applicant has them.
  • Copy of internal passport.

4.       Nulla Osta valid 6 months from the date of issue.

 

Personnel employed in supplementary maritime services boarding Italian cruise ships and employed by foreign subcontractors

1.       Visa application form

2.       Two recent passport-size photos (3,5 x 4,5 cm).

4.       Contract between foreign company and Italian ship owner.

5.       Enrolment of ship in International Register.

6.       Enlistment contract.

 

 

Journalists and correspondents officially accredited in Italy and employed by foreign press organisations or TV and radio broadcasters

 

1.       Visa application form

4.       Verbal note – request from local competent authorities

5.       The visa will be issued pending "Nulla Osta" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Press and Information Service.

6.       Press card

  • The Diplomatic and Consular Representative Offices reserves the right to demand any additional documents
  • All the documents of Ukrainian origin must be translated into Italian or English
