  1. What should I do after submitting the visa application?
    Check the status of your application by logging on to the website (www.italyvac-ua.com) in the evening of the third working day after submission or Call our Call Centre on: (+38) 0 44 594 96 17 or (+38) 0 50 1179004

  2. How to collect your passport after Embassy returns it to the Visa Application Centre?

    There are two ways of collecting your passport:

    a) Applicant can choose to receive the passport through Courier service :

    Courier service can be ordered and paid at the VAC at the time of submission of the application

    b) Applicant can collect it from the Visa Application Center PERSONALLY:

    You can collect your passport from the Visa Application Centre between 0830 and 1530 hours (Monday to Friday, except on Holidays). At the time of collecting passport, applicant must present the Receipt given by the VAC at the time of submission and his/her ID document.

    Please note! Starting from 15.08.2009, as per the guidelines from the Embassy of Italy in Kiev, applicant MUST collect their passport personally. An exception to this rule is applicable for the following:

    - For Minor applicants – Passport can be collected by
    • one of the parent (Receipt given at the time of submission should be presented along with the birth certificate of the minor and ID of parent in original); OR
    • authorized relative of the minor who was present at the time of submission of the application (Receipt given at the time of submission should be presented along with a Letter of Authority that is attested by VAC at the time of Submission and ID of representative in original)


    - one of the family members who applied along with other family members – if a family submitted documents together, then one of members of the family can collect all passports presenting the Receipt given at the time of submission, Letter of authority that is attested by VAC at the time of Submission, and ID of representative in original

    - representatives of a company who submitted documents for company employee(s) presenting the Receipt given at the time of submission along with the Letter of Authority that is attested by VAC at the time of Submission, and ID of representative in original

    - representative of the group, if documents were submitted by him/her (presenting Receipt given at the time of submission along with the Letter of Authority that is attested by VAC at the time of submission, and ID of representative in original)

    If one of mentioned documents cannot be presented, applicant has to collect passport at Visa Application Centre personally.

  3. Can documents be sent to the VAC by mail?

    Please note, that Visa Application Centre do not accept any documentation by mail, courier or fax. All the documents which applicant is willing to submit should be brought at the time of submission.

  4. If group of applicants/ family is applying at the same time, can they submit one copy of common documents?

    If group of applicants or family applying for visa, each group member/ family member should present separate set of documents, except children on parent’s passport applying along with parent. Names of all applicants, including minors applying for visa should be mentioned in the documents (hotel booking, invitation, bank guarantee, insurance certificate, ticket booking etc.)
